What should I do if my reverse osmosis system stops producing water?

First, make sure the home has water, the RO feed valve is open, and the storage-tank valve has not been closed. If filters were recently changed, remember that the empty tank may need several hours to refill. Low household water pressure or a heavily clogged prefilter can also slow production. If the system is leaking, making unusual noises, or still produces little or no water, stop troubleshooting and call for service.
